Racing SeaCraft Boats
Advertising was expensive and not within the budget of this new start-up company.
So when Moesly purchased the American Marc inventory, he built and raced the catamarans
under the name "SeaCraft" ... beginning the name recognition of his new company.
After he designed the VDR hull, Moesly raced his stock boat not only to gain publicity,
but also to test his boat's endurance and performance against the competitors.
During the mid-60's, the rules changed for racing boats. Moesly designed an all out racing boat.
The first, named "My Racing Machine", a 21' lower profile boat, but using the same VDR hull.
Later on, he used the name "My Racing Machine" on a 25' and eventually went from twin engines to triples.
